This is a fun activity in Leeds

Ready to unwind? Visit our painting space, where you can come and decorate your own chosen piece (or pieces!) of eco-resin homeware! Choose two items from plant pots, trinket trays, candle holders, vases and seasonal decorations.

You'll arrive in our painting space, much like a pottery cafe (but eco-resin rather than pottery!), where you will be seated in your group at a table. You're able to go and choose two pieces to paint in our selection of homewares, and your ticket includes all the paints and accessories you'll need to decorate it. You'll have an hour and a half (90 minutes) to enjoy your painting session!

This is a little different than pottery painting, as your homeware is made from eco-resin and does not need to be fired after you've painted it; once the paint is dry, you can use it at home right away! (Please note, finished creations need to be treated with care as they're hand-painted).

Please note the following:

- This is NOT pottery, as such as not food-safe or waterproof by default. You'll be provided with a take-home gloss kit at our shop that makes the items water resistant. We recommend bringing your own bag where possible.

- You must arrive at the start of your session time; otherwise, you won't be given your full 90-minute slot.

- The minimum age is 16 years old. Please don't be offended if we ask to verify the age of your children, our insurance requires us to make sure everyone is the right age to have a good crafty time!

- You will be sat within your booking group, so please be aware if you book alone, you may be seated alone or with another group.

- You can also purchase additional homewares on the day if you'd like to paint more than two!

- While you're with us, you're able to order hot drinks (at an extra charge) from the neighbouring coffee shops. We don't allow you to bring any food in that hasn't been purchased from the coffee shops within the shopping arcade.

- You'll have gloves at your disposal to prevent any mess.

- You can leave your piece with us to dry (you have up to 2 weeks to collect) or you can take it home immediately!

- We are a shop open to the public. There may be other painting groups within your time slot or other workshops happening simultaneously in the space, so you won’t have the space to yourself, but you’ll have your table to enjoy your experience!

We were a party of 4. At £25 each, this experience cost total £100. The location of the shop is nice, in the corn exchange Leeds. At first sight we quickly realised that the shop didn’t have any seating inside. So we were guided to our table, which sits outside the shop within the shopping arcade. There’s a busy record store playing music at the side of where you sit. We got to choose 2 items to paint each from the display. The items are imperfect, so lots of holes and marks on them. A good way for the shop to use them rather than throw them away. The choice was very limited. We were allowed 5 different paint colours between 2 of us. We were given very small amounts but could go back into the shop to get more. The colours available are very limited. So you have to use your own intelligence to mix colours in order to create a wider variety of a colour pallet. The time allowed is 1 1/2 hours. All four of us only managed to paint one item each in that time. There is a coffee shop within the shopping centre, you can go get a coffee from. I don’t believe there are any drinks available from the shop. The girl in the shop was lovely and explained what to do. She even gave us a 10 minute warning to let us know our session was nearly over. Value for money, I didn't think was good. I would expect a better quality item to paint. Not one of us had the time to paint a second item. So we all felt one good quality item without holes in it would have been better. The choice of paint colours was also far too limited. Since we had to sit in the shopping centre and not a designated room, the area was cold. Subsequently we all wore our coats which wasn’t ideal when we were all using paints. Sadly I wouldn’t go here again. And again, sadly I wouldn’t recommend it.

We really enjoyed this experience! Great choice of items to paint. Our teacher was approachable and helpful. We weren't rushed and felt very relaxed while painting. The atmosphere at the venue was lovely. Great experience all around.

A very relaxed group, there were some fun pot options to choose from and a good range of colours. We were given some good advice for painting and looking after the pieces, and then left to our own devices for the rest of the session. We all had a great time, would definitely recommend and will hopefully go again!

Not really a class. You are just told to pick the pieces you want then paint them. You get to choose 5 colours only to use and if you go as a pair you share the palette so felt abit limiting. The items all had imperfections on them aka mini airbubble pockets. In email says they provide gloves but no one was given any. Not enough time to finish the designs Its also right in open space where it can be quite noisy as it's in a market area. So wasn't at all what we expected. It's very self led. It was something cute to do and kill time. We enjoyed getting creative in our painting. But would we recommend to others? Maybe if you just wanted a simple activity to kill some time. But not an omg yes you have to try it. So all in all. We left feeling pretty neutral but also like it wasn't fully worth what we paid.

Lovely! Felt a little anxious knowing I'd be sat in the open space but I was so engrossed in painting that I didn't care. My pieces weren't 100% dry by the end of my session but I was able to leave them there for later collection

Had a great time. Our teacher was friendly and helpful. We went for Valentines and painted matching designs which looked really cute.

We had an absolutely lovely time, everything was clearly explained and materials were laid out and prepared before we arrived. Even though it’s a self-led session help was never far away if we needed it! A super fun experience that we would recommend to anyone

Lovely experience. Nice relaxing environment, left to your own creativity to paint whatever you please, no matter your skill level. Would do again!
