“Thoroughly enjoyable class introducing the basics of using a sewing machine. Pace was just right and Cerri was very patient giving us lots of opportunity to repeat steps to ensure they were mastered! Highly recommend the class - I’m signed up for the next!”

“Really enjoyed the class, the pace was excellent and the teacher was very helpful and careful to ensure everyone was confidence before progressing onto the next skill. We were asked to practice what we were taught several times which was so helpful! It really made it stick. We went through the absolute basics of sewing on a sewing machine so it was perfect for those who had never used one or wasn’t familiar. I’m keen to do the next class now!”

“I had a great time learning how to sew! I had no prior experience with a sewing machine and I came out of the class feeling confident and excited to practice more. Cerri was very patient and gave us a lot of tips, and briefed us on the best practices and safety. She made sure that we had enough practice before moving onto the next steps. The 3 hours you will spend at this workshop are absolutely worth it. You will learn how to get set up with your machine, try out different types of stitches, and towards the end you will put all your new skills to practice by creating a pin cushion. I highly recommend this workshop to anyone who is intimidated by learning how to machine sew. It is a safe space to make mistakes and ask questions. If you have your own sewing machine, I would recommend you bring it because as Cerri pointed out during the class, there are quite a few differences between different brands/models.”
