During your first class, you can bring in a shop-bought pattern to work from - this can be any garment you like!

Together, over the course of six weeks and with the help of your talented teacher, you will learn step by step how to follow your pattern, successfully make the garment and leave with the skills to make many more and confidence to try other patterns too!

Garment making is a wonderful, relaxing and mindful skill & craft but best of all, at the end of six weeks, you'll have a stunning garment of your choice handmade entirely by you!

“Emma is a fantastic teacher - really knowledgeable and full of tips that professional tailors use. Although I was already a fairly experienced sewist, I learned many new skills and felt much more confident about tackling more complex patterns by myself in the future. Other classmates were new to garment-making but were supported really well to make some stunning items, so I was impressed at how good a teacher Emma is. I really liked the small class size which meant that we each got enough attention when we needed it. Highly recommended.”

“This was a brilliant weekly class - I can’t believe I made an actual garment I can wear! Cerri was patient and encouraging and very knowledgable and she and the other participants made it a really fun experience.”

“The class was amazing , Emma was a great teacher...very patient . I managed to make a corduroy dress and Emma talked me through all the tricky bits...hopefully I will remember for next time. It was lovely to meet other people and see the variety of garments being made...which was also useful more tips . Loved the whole experience...can't wait to start my next project”

“I loved the dress I made in class. The teacher Cerri helped me to improve my sewing skills, to adapt my pattern to get the style I wanted and to put pockets into my dress which wasn’t on the pattern. I’ll be signing up for more and loved the friendly atmosphere created”
