This is a fun activity in Canary Wharf, London

Make authentic Spanish churros and rich hot chocolate in this hands-on cooking class on a London houseboat.

Set on a unique vintage Dutch houseboat near Canary Wharf, this churros and chocolate workshop is one of the most unusual and fun foodie experiences in London — perfect for beginners, couples, families, and anyone looking for a memorable cooking class.
Step aboard a cosy houseboat and discover the traditional Spanish technique of making churros con chocolate with your friendly and experienced host.
In this interactive, hands-on cooking class, you will:
• Make churro dough from scratch
• Learn how to pipe, shape and fry churros safely
• Prepare thick, authentic Spanish hot chocolate
• Try freshly made churros with chocolate or dulce de leche filling
Your teacher will guide you step by step with demonstrations, while you take part in the key cooking stages.

This cooking class takes place on a charming barge moored in a private marina, creating an intimate and memorable experience unlike a traditional cooking school.
It’s a relaxed, social setting with beautiful waterside surroundings near Canary Wharf.
This class can be adapted for vegan and gluten-free diets. Please inform your host after booking.
This churros cooking class is ideal for:
• Fun date nights in London
• Family-friendly activities and school holidays
• Unique London experiences for tourists
• Food lovers and gift experiences
• This is a small, intimate domestic kitchen on a houseboat (not a commercial kitchen)
• Flexible class times may be available on request
• A friendly Ragdoll cat lives on board (please consider allergies before booking)

Your teacher is flexible on times for the class so feel free to check with her for another time slot if it's not listed in the calendar!

What an intriguing way to spend an afternoon. Tere is incredibly hospitable and knowledgeable. We learned so much about houseboats, churros, her native Spain, and cats! It was good fun making the churros and they were the best I’ve ever had.

My partner and I booked the stuffed churros option and it did not disappoint! From start to finish Tere was amazing. She reached out to us on Whatsapp with the directions to her boat which were spot on and she came out to meet us. She helped us get hands on with the making of the Churros, how to long to prepare them for and how to stuff them with your choice of filling (Chocolate or Dulce De Leche). The boat has a lot of character and we've bought ourselves the same equipment to make the Churros at home! Overall this was a really fun experience, so fun that my partner is already planning a class with her mother :)

This is my favourite cooking class I've tried so far. Tere was so lovely. She texted us ahead of time with directions on how to get there, which was really helpful. She was really knowledgeable about the process and fun to talk to. I've tried making churros before on my own and they didn't turn out well, but after this class I feel much more confident. We even tried making the bear churros I've seen online when I asked if we could. Her cat Tippi was also adorable and lovely to see. Definitely recommend this experience! She also has an upcoming cat portrait biscuit class that looks interesting.
