Depending on how much you'd like to explore, you can choose from three different session lengths:

**Taster Class – 1 hour**

**Creative Class – 2 hours [Recommended]**
- Choose from 20+ glass flower styles, including iris, daffodil, cactus and more
- Learn a wider range of lampwork techniques
- Step-by-step guidance from an experienced tutor
- Create one or more handcrafted glass flowers
- Includes a ceramic pot and a beautiful gift-ready package

**Extended Class – 3 hours**
- Create more advanced glass flower designs such as lily, rose and sunflower
- Learn more refined shaping and flame-control techniques
- Step-by-step guidance from an experienced tutor
- Create one or more detailed handcrafted glass flowers
- Includes a ceramic pot and a beautiful gift-ready package

**Please note:**
- This workshop involves hot glass, heated tools and open flames.
- Other workshops may run at the same time.

“Great introductory class. I made a small glass flower and although it is not perfect, I think it’s cute and unique. My instructor, Meg, gave clear instructions and was very helpful. Fun activity to do on your own. Be aware of the health & safety rules to avoid burns/accidents.”

“Teacher was amazing and very good at explaining the techniques. Lots of options as to what you can make. It was really easy to book and the 2 hour slot we had went in a flash. A real treat and would def ho sgain! Thank you.”

“I came here with my auntie for my birthday and I genuinely really enjoyed the creative side of the experience and watching our pieces come to life. It was exciting and very relaxing - I would definitely do it again!!! However, I was quite concerned about the safety and lack of guidance throughout. We were given gloves, but I was given three different pairs before I even started because they already had holes in them. My auntie accidentally touched the hot glass twice and ended up with blisters on both index fingers, despite wearing the gloves. I know we were told not to touch anything hot and accidents can happen, but when you’re working with fire, extremely hot glass and a blowtorch, I would expect the safety equipment to be properly checked and for there to be more supervision throughout. For the amount of money we paid, I expected a more guided and structured session. I often felt I had to actively ask for help rather than being guided step by step throughout. Given the nature of the activity and the equipment involved, I think better supervision and a more guided approach would make the experience much safer going forward. I do want to say that when my auntie was burned, the staff member dealt with it quickly and gave her burn gel, which we appreciated. However, overall I think the studio needs to review the condition of its protective equipment and consider providing more guidance and supervision during the session.”

“Please be Careful how you Get the flowers home! I really enjoyed this class, and the teachers were very helpful and patient and I think I quickly got the hang of the flower-making. I managed to make 3 lovely little flowers in the alloted hour and and I will definately book the 2-hour class. Please note, while it should go without saying that Glass Is Fragile, the flowers are VERY delicate and the glass is very thin, and even though staff pack them well for transport with paper straw I was dismayed to find that why I got home, every one of the pieces was smashed! (The perils of public transport.) This is by no means any reflection on the staff or the class, but a warning to anyone taking it to make sure you don't get curious about taking the flowers out of the packaging too quickly and maybe take an extra bag or a small box with you for going home. Thanks again to everyone there and I hope to visit you soon!”

“We had an amazing session with Meg. She was so patient and supportive- helping us through each step. She demonstrated everything very clearly and was on hand to help and advise. Would highly recommend giving this a go if you are looking for something different and challenging to try. Lovely workshop (especially the aircon) and a great range of equipment and resources.”

“Did some flower petals and connected them to some stems. Was really fun, our teacher was excellent - really kind and helpful (especially when I was doing things wrong), and gave us great safety guidance too.”

“Great workshop, glassworking was completely new for us, I recommend the 3h option to learn the medium and take your time. There are a lot of flowers to choose from and you will be shown the steps needed to recreate what you picked. You get a lot of creative freedom and you are encouraged to experiment. The glass can be unforgiving but it's also very relaxing when you make petal after petal.”

“I can't recommend this enough. From the moment we arrived, everything was well organised and friendly. Jerry explained both the safety side and the techniques in a really easy-to-understand way, giving everyone confidence to work independently. I loved that each flower turned out completely different, and it was amazing to see everyone's creativity come through. I'd happily book another workshop here.”
