This is a fun activity in Southwark, London

If you've always wanted to try lino printing but never got round to it, this beginner-friendly class is the perfect first step to take!

Hosted in a colourful central London studio, this workshop will show you how to create multiple prints in a variety of colours using a single block of A6 lino. Your expert teacher, a talented local designer, will introduce you to all of the tools and equipment before getting you up to speed with the techniques needed to print stunning posters by hand.

You'll create a custom design, transfer it onto a block of lino and carve out the impression before applying your ink, ready to experiment with different application methods to print your artwork on paper. The best bit? You can bring along your favourite drinks to enjoy throughout the experience!

At the end of the class, you'll have three printed A4 artworks to take home, ready to frame and hang on your wall or give as handmade gifts!

We had a wonderful time learning how to transfer our image to the lino, carve out the Lino and print it! We were given lots of time and space to decide what to do. The teacher was enthusiastic and kind

This is a really fab class, I had so much fun doing a new activity. It’s really reasonably priced, and it’s a lovely space. Only thing was I was a bit confused with the size of the Lino, the pictures showed a postcard size but it turned out to be a smaller version / smaller card making class. Not a huge deal in the end as it was still a fab activity, instructor was super friendly and calm, and I’d 10/10 recommend it to others.
