“Jean’s meditative art session was such a calming and inspiring experience.
Her gentle voice and guidance made it easy to relax and enjoy the process.
I’d happily return to this practice again, experimenting with different materials and discovering something new each time.
I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and creative way to unwind.”
“Jean was methodical in her teaching. I loved that she showed a video outlining each step. I was stressed just before the workshop but calmed down through the process as Jean kept emphasising on the importance of breathing. This is a much needed course in the hectic corporate world. Highly recommended for companies to take care of their employees mental wellbeing. Thank you Jean for an excellent workshop. I've started using meditative drawing already.”
“I really enjoyed this class and Jean was great teaching some very effective techniques to get out of your head and be in the present moment and not needing perfection in the art. It was great to do the breath work. Jean was lovely, a great teacher and had a very calming presence.
I would recommend this class to anyone”
“In an easy and supportive manner, Jean led us through her simple but profound breathing and drawing techniques drawn from her own experience and research, intended to sooth the body and brain.
I enjoyed the sense of calm as we progressed through the meditative processes and shared as a group.”
“This class was better than i had expected. I had thought it would be more about drawing than therapy but the emphasis was on calmness and quieting the brain, something i find hard to achieve. Hence I was surprised that it worked using this method. Drawing was simply and perfectly a method to stop distractions and giving me something to do with my hands. What I found a little difficult was drawing straight lines and geometric shapes as I am prone to work with curves and organic shapes when I doodle. Jean was really good, explaining why, with the focus on square breathing and what to do. Jean provided her backstory and this made the class much more authentic. The only negative was that Zoom cut out part way through and i was unable to reconnect. I would have loved to se the class through to the end.”
“I found the class had a good pace and thought that the content was well considered. Jean set us up well with some breathwork and I liked that this was tied in with the first drawing exercise. I appreciated Jean’s focus on the process, and the way she encouraged us to follow our intuition and find our flow. I was surprised by the exercise itself, how much my mental state changed from beginning to end. I started the class feeling very overwhelmed and zapped for creativity, but by the end of the hour I had quietened the mind enough that I was starting to experience some playful creativity.”
“Would highly recommdend this class! Very simple and accessible for most people and only requires basic supplies a lot of people already have (paper, markers, sticky notes and scissors). The class was very enjoyable and calming as well as a judgement free atmosphere and no pressure to create something amazing. You get a worksheet to keep and print out which means it's very easy to use this method over and over again, which I definitely will be doing! The teacher, Jean, was very nice and open to feedback. Thank you!”
“This was a lovely workshop. Jean was a great host guiding all of us through the meditative excersises. It helped me de-stress and relax after a stressful day. Highly recommend it to everyone who needs a break.”
