Great class, good fun. The time passed too fast! Lauren was an excellent teacher and we all made pieces we were proud of. Highly recommended.

My wife and I had a great time at our first wheel throwing class. The teacher was really nice and very helpful. It’s harder than it looks but we had a lot of fun and I would definitely do it again. Thank you Cone Studio

Lauren was a very patient and informative guide and teacher. We had heaps of fun, some disasters and some successes, and got very muddy. A great way to spend an afternoon Highly recommended

The teacher (Lulu) was absolutely lovely! She explained the process to us and then allowed us to take to the wheel and have fun with it. It was easy to understand, a great atmosphere, and so much fun! Would definitely reccommend if you are looking for something creative and hands on to do. Also, be prepared to get a little messy.

Lulu was a fabulous teacher and the studio was perfectly equipped for an enjoyable class. We can’t wait to see our pieces after they are glazed in a few weeks. Perfect class for first timers!

The class was awesome! My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed it and were surprised at how we were able to progress in the short time. I found the instructions at the beginning really fast and hard to follow, as well as at the end with the cleaning up (I am someone who digests instructions one by one or two by two usually), but the instructor was fantastic and really helpful and took time with each person to help them with the bits they were struggling with. I would suggest at the beginning maybe having something on the big table for each person to hold or practice with to understand the terms like centring, as I still wasn’t sure at the end what I was looking or feeling for, and I think having something (like spinning tops or something like that) to be able to get people to see and feel would be really helpful. Associating new concepts with current abilities or activities I think would’ve helped everyone get a little further on in the class. I really liked how if you make a mistake you could just start again (which I had to do quite a few times) and the instructor was really positive and kind about everyone’s effort and piece's, and overall I would recommend this to any couple, friends, parent and child etc who want to bond over something tricky, clunky, messy but unbelievably fun and rewarding!
