“Amazing birthday gift
Really welcoming and knowledgeable teachers. We made two items, one a blow torched sculpture piece, the second a small glass blowing piece. The demonstration to practice time split was perfect. I was able to take home two small items and the teachers were in hand to ‘save’ my piece at one point, they’ll also help to get your piece finished in time if you ask for help. So much coloured glass available. Small class size of five for us, but they can accommodate a few more. The studio has so many classes on offer too, glass beads, longer glass blowing and sculpting courses. Parking is hard, take the train.”
“This class was an absolutely incredible experience!
It was fun, informative, creative and has opened our eyes to the world of glass!
Our teacher, Mark ,was talented, kind, helpful and made us all feel super special with our glass creations. Definitely thinking about doing more classes!”
“I received a glassblowing experience for Father’s Day. The teacher kindly accommodated my 11.5 yo coming along. We had such a good time together. Glass blowing is intimidating at first but the teacher broke everything down into steps. We did two projects in the class. First getting used to the way the glass melts and moves, and then making a vessel/ cup by blowing. It was so satisfying to come away with things we had made!”
“Mark and Simmy very knowledgeable teachers and always put safety first. First time doing anything with glass and absolutely loved it. I will be back.”
“If you are thinking; hey, this looks interesting. Should I (or we) do it? The answer is yes you should. It's definitely an experience that is not commonly practiced which makes it all the more fun because you have zero expectation and experience. Mark is a great and calm teacher who is an expert in the field so will guide you in your creative path and the skills. This is such a niche practice but also so so fun to be proud of the trinkets you make. Thanks Mark!”
