The teacher was really patient and hospitable. I loved the thoughtful offer of Turkish Coffee and Apple Tea as it provided an immersive experience into the Turkish Culture....so much more than just a 'lamp making workshop'. Totally recommend this experience!!!

This was a fun class. It was very relaxing to sit and create a pattern. We were made to feel welcome and the teacher was very knowledgable, friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this class.

Making your own Turkish style lamp in your desired colours to match your home interior was so much better than buying one in a shop. We were able to design the pattern ourselves or follow a template and had free creative control. The very friendly teacher was there to assist, teach and make us feel comfortable the whole way through. I definitely recommend this class and can’t wait to pick up the finished piece once it’s been grouted in as few days. Very inclusive environment!

My grandaughter Poppy who has just turned 10 had a great time making our mosaic lamps, the teachers were lovely and encouraging and everyone appeared to have an enjoyable time.My only critisism would be that there were no instructions in regards to the grouting of our lamps and we were only given the grout. When I asked about instructions I was told I would need to google it. A few years ago I did the exact same course in Sydney with my other grandaughter and we were provided with a kit for the grout , the kit included instructions , the grout, a mixing cup ,mixing sticks and protective gloves also on the instructions sheet there was a QR code that we could use to watch a video on the grouting technique. Kind Regards Kath & Poppy

This was a really wonderful experience. It takes a bit of concentration to get the tiles right, it doesn’t have to be perfect but as our wonderful hosts said “as long as you’re happy!”. The two lovely ladies who ran the class added to the experience and it was the perfect amount of help to letting us do our own thing that I really appreciated. I would highly recommend!
