“Yoko
This class was very informative and a fun class.
I enjoyed it immensely. Yoko was very knowledgeable about the craft and the history behind this craft.”
“Yoko, our Kintsugi teacher was so professional, thoughtful and encouraging. I gifted this for my friend’s birthday and so it was even more special to be able to do this together. The four hours flew by and we came away with more understanding and respect for the traditional practice of Kintsugi and the time and care that is involved in repairing broken pottery into a unique and special piece of art. There was no time wasted during our session as Yoko had everything thoughtfully prepared from start to finish and even until after the 5 days after drying, sending us a reminder and photos from the day. Thank you Yoko.”
“Yoko is a terrific teacher. She gave us a potted history of kintsugi while demonstrating the techniques and helping us create our own masterpiece. Overall a very fun and interesting class. It was really easy to use the gift card, we just found the class we wanted to do and booked it. The other good thing about the gift card was the very long expiry date - it was bought over a year ago and we've only just used it now. 10/10 experience!”
“Our teacher, Yoko Kawada, had prepared a very detailed class with all materials and tools provided. I loved the history and culture lessons while completing the project. It was quite relaxing and meditative. Yoko is very calm and helps everyone with all the steps in the traditional process.”
