“Have been to other classes but this was another level. Put simply, so many handy tips explained so everyone had a full understanding of how we all could improve our cooks. All questions were answered well and appreciated. I would absolutely recommend this class to both novices and ones who thought we had a good handle on smoking.”
“Teacher was fantastic. Very informative, approachable, jovial....
Knows how to interact with people well..
I liked the knowledge I took from the course, and look forward to putting it in to practice myself..
They were a lovely group of people that also did the class too. Made the day go swimmingly..”
“Very informative, excellent presentation of topics covered. The skills learned will be utilised in the future when smoking meats and the accompanying sauces.”
“Would be five stars only we had to eat our meal in the dark squashed up together on three high tables. Decent seating and lights would have topped off a great afternoon.”
“Chefs were great, knew what they were doing and explained in an easy to understand way with plenty of tips and tricks. Food was great so make sure you go with an empty stomach. Very enjoyable way to spend an arvo.”
“I really learnt a lot from the American smoking BBQ cooking class - there was a great mix of techniques, tips, and some minimal hands-on experience. However, it did feel like a lot was squeezed into the session, especially considering that smoking meat properly takes longer than four hours.
I thoroughly enjoyed the class overall, but at times it felt a bit rushed, particularly as we were the final Sunday session. A late start due to the previous class running over seemed to put pressure on the chefs to wrap things up quickly.
That said, the Chefs were knowledgeable and passionate, and I still walked away with valuable skills and a better understanding of the smoking process. Would recommend, but maybe with a bit more time allocated to let the experience breathe and or a diffent time session for the class”
