Teacher very patient and explained things well in steps. Perhaps with the folding to practice two first then learn the second two.

Dylan was a great teacher - very personable and, obviously, knew what he was doing. He explained each step of the process and then had us do it, walking around to check on us. We the dumpling skins, the dumpling filling and then put it all together. He showed us four styles of dumpling to make. And then, of course, we got to steam them and eat them. Yum.

The dumpling making course I participated in on Saturday morning was great! It exceeded my expectations. My husband and I used a gift card I had purchased over a year ago and it was so easy to use and book the class. Otao Kitchen in Abbotsford was set up so professionally, with cooking appliances/cooktops at all of the benches and all the ingredietns and utensils set up ready to use for each individual. The instructions from our lovely teacher (chef) were clear and easy to see as they were also projected onto a screen for everyone to see. After an hour and a half we were all tucking into delicious, hot, steamed dumplings with condiments provided for each person and beverages such as prosecco, wine, beer as well as ginger beer, mineral water and soft drinks for those not drinking alcohol. We had made enough dumplings to take home at least a dozen each which we enjoyed later. I highly recommend the class, it was so enjoyable and look forward to doing another class soon!
