“My girlfriend and I did the class. Whlist we like the activity itself, I wish the instructor was more proactive and enthusaistic in teaching and guiding us, rather than ducking away and being on her phone the whole time. We had to alert the instructor that we're done, and she did not give us any guidance along the way which resulted in our first turfting being littered with mistakes that could have been avoided.”
“I was disappointed by the lack of support and professionalism from our teacher during the class. She treated me and my friend unfairly—for example, she only allowed my friend to choose 3 yarn colours, while other students were given 6 options. She also wrongly accused my friend by telling her off for handing her a threading machine that was switched on, even though it was off. The teacher also scoffed at my work and I asked for her feedback in saying what's wrong, she simply dismissed me with, "Nevermind, just keep going." When I requested assistance with creating a circle for my work, she refused and told me I wouldn’t be able to do it. She seemed to give up on helping us entirely and focused her attention on other students instead. I came here hoping for a fun learning experience, but unfortunately, I left feeling discouraged and disrespected.”
“A great beginners class! Walked us through each step well, from drawing our design onto the canvas using a projector all the way through to glueing down the back of our rugs. A great experience to do with friends, with something funky and fun to take home.”
“Amazing!! Sofia was so nice she is happy to help and answer all your questions!
My partner and I had a great experience :)
We will be coming back for another rug tufting class in future!”
“Great fun! Make sure you have a few illustration options. It’s not hard to pick up but it’s tricky. A bit more of a workout than I had thought so being water! The outcome is surprising and impressive. Its something you can do with a larger party because you can chitchat and do it at the same time. Will definitely do again.”
