“I had such a lovely experience at this oil painting class. The studio itself was a beautiful, welcoming space that instantly put me at ease. Fellow painters were warm and supportive, which made the atmosphere relaxed and encouraging. The teacher Foni offered just the right mix of guidance and freedom, allowing each of us to follow our own process while feeling confident to explore. They were very friendly and reassuring. As a beginner, I felt genuinely supported and inspired to create. It was an enjoyable class that I’d be happy to recommend.
Things we covered as a beginner (with knowledge of acrylic painting) - the equipment, solvents, mediums, colour mixing, paint application, the use of the colour wheel, proportions, underpainting, brush use, set and clean up.

“I have been going to Wednesday evening classes for about 6 weeks now.
Everyone who attends is lovely and very friendly. Its a really fun class.
I'm a complete beginner so I often don't know what the next step is and Foni is a great help. She will be as hands on or off as you need. I'm slowly taking in the skills she teaches. I also really enjoy hearing what the other attendees struggle with and how they are working through those to get better. It's definitely helped me a lot.
I spent my first class on the pomegranate and then 5 weeks on these oranges and I'm excited for my next painting.
I also bought the beginner kit they offer and it's been a perfect start when I had nothing and no experience with oil painting. I highly recommend this class. It's a great way to spend 3 hours.”
