Instructors really went all out to make sure everything was catered for. Literally incredible support. You will not find a better sourdough class anywhere in Sydney! If anything this is easily the best class you can take on this whole platform!!! (This is coming from someone who has taken a lot of classes on ClassBento). When I first came across this class I was comparing it to other sourdough classes in terms of which one should I do- but wow seriously this is genuinely the most incredible class one can take! They have truely been so considerate, from their before class, in-class to after class support and highly welcoming. Utmost great energy and vibes from Leila and Michael!!! I genuinely wish Leila and Michael the most success and happiness because truely this class is unforgettable. I had to come back a month later to edit this review and add more praises as it’s an amazing amazing experience! I could pour the entire Dictionary’s worth of praises on here and it still won’t be enough for what they are deserving of! Thank you x infinite!

I can't rate Michael and Leila highly enough, they were extremely organised and welcoming, the class itself was so interactive and they provided helpful tips and tricks along the way, not only that they continue to check in daily with reminders on feeding our starter, provided all recipes and I would not hesitate to recommend Hills Sourdough Co to anyone thinking about attending.

I had a great and informative experinece in Michael and Leila's class. They were warm and inclusive, as well as generous with their experience and time. I had come to the class having become somewhat proficient at most of the steps to making a sourdough loaf, but was frustrated from repeated failures in the final proving and baking (the most important bits!). They made it easy to understand how to get over that hurdle and how to 'idiot-proof' my bread making from here on. Great teachers and humans, thank you, thank you!

Instructors are really knowledgeable and patient. They went through each stage of the sourdough making process. Morning tea and lunch were provided. Food was wholesome and straight from the farmers markets, absolutely brilliant. Great course and really easy to follow the instructors. The instructors even follow up the next day. Very calming atmosphere. Highly recommended.

The best way to spend a Saturday! The class was so informative and completely hands on. Watched a loaf get scored and sent off for baking while we made our own starter, made scones, made a loaf to take home to bake and learnt all the tips and techniques to sourdough success. Yummy treats to eat, a very relaxing and well paced class. Highly recommend.

Mikey and Leila are wonderful and exceptionally generous teachers! Our class had 4 participants so we received lots of guidance which was great. We learnt how to make and feed our own starter, how to shape and proof sourdough and made some delicious sourdough scones. We've also had additional guidance after the conclusion of the class with Mikey and Leila checking in to see how our loaves baked at home and how feeding our starters is going. I would highly recommend this class to anyone with an interest in bread! p.s. This class is run out of their lovely home - I would recommend driving given the large amount of things you will be taking home with you (any leftovers from lunch, your sourdough in banneton, enough flour to feed you starter for the next few days etc) but if you need to take public transport like I did then it's easily accessible via the metro and a short bus ride from Rouse Hill station :)
