“Charlotte was fabulous as an instructor! The small group enabled one one one assistance. Glass is a mesmerising substance and the class opened my eyes to its complexity fexibility and creativity that can be achieved with this unusual medium. Absolutely fantastic experince, I want to learn more.”
“Loved experiencing something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. The instruction was very clear and there was help every step of the way. Gives you a greater appreciation for this artistic skill.”
“A fantastic learning adventure. Great passionate and experienced tutors. And an opportunity to really get to play with molten glass. Highly reccomend. Will have to join the actual course now.”
“I loved this class, Jack our instructor was fabulous. He was knowledgeable and friendly. We got to make a paper weight and a goblet / glass. It is a little difficult in parts but there was always support and encouragement.
I highly recommend this class if you want something unique and fun.”
“The glassblowing teacher was friendly and very good at guiding us. We had a 3‑hour session to make two glass items. What we liked most was that you were given enough time to finish your pieces. However, the class structure wasn’t ideal. The session was meant to be as 1:1, but in reality you had to wait at least 20 minutes each rotation while the teacher worked with other students. This meant you spent around 80 minutes just standing there not doing anything, as there were another 2 students and we were making 2 pieces of glass items. You think you’re paying for a full 3‑hour session for yourself, but in reality you’re only getting about 100 minutes of actual hands‑on time and the rest is spent watching others. This really needs improvement, and it should be communicated clearly beforehand. The session was tired as you spent 80min standing there and watching, not enough chairs to sit around and watch, also you were not doing anything in the 80min.”
“Amazing workshop! Laura was very knowledgeable and kind. I had a lovely time creating two fun pieces that are both very different. You get to choose your own colours and the workshops is very hands on. Would definitely recommend!”
