Very much enjoyed this experience, Billy and Laura were very kind and patient. Billy allowed us to make what we wanted so we have pieces we love and will use and treasure! We made a paperweight and a glass. It was really good to look at the samples and see how the colours look in the glass etc. once incorporated and cooled. I also loved that there were only 4 students in the class so it was very personalised. It was very helpful to have postage included in the price so we didn’t have to try and get there another day to pick up our pieces, as we were only in Melbourne for a few days. Highly recommend!

I had such a great time at Billy’s glassblowing class! The vibe was very welcoming and Billy was an excellent teacher, very patient, clear, and encouraging. I loved being able to choose my colour combinations and get creative with my pieces. Watching the glass transform and learning all the hands-on techniques, from shaping to blowing, was so satisfying. Highly recommend for anyone curious about glassblowing!

Great fun. Lots to learn while still being easy to achieve a really good results. Lots of room for your own creativity choices. My favourite bits were pulling the coloured glass and twisting it into shapes and swirls for the inside of the paperweight, and blowing into the glass. But so much of it was amazing. Even the basic bits like spinning the glass on the end of the rod inside the furnace while it heated up. Really happy with the experience, everything I learned, AND my final products. Teachers were fantastic!!

The class was great to learn how glass works. Great teachers and a relaxed atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoyed making the glass and paper weight.
