“The teacher was helpful in showing us what to do but I wish I had full control over my creation, in the sense that he helped to make it "perfect" in its thinness, height and shape. I am not a professional hence I wouldn't expect to produce a perfect piece of pottery. Instead I had hoped to bring home an imperfect creation that was wholly made by my own hands, unless I had asked for help.”
