“Mr. Scientist is an excellent teacher! I think his name is Khasir(?) - forgive me if I misspelled/remembered his name! But I got workshop tickets to tuft with my partner for valentine’s day and we’re both beginners - Mr. Scientist was very direct about the basics so we were able to pick it up pretty quickly. I will say I was assuming that the instructors would cut our rugs for us after pressing it, but it’s not a big deal that they didn’t. Mr. Scientist’s personality definitely helped us stay engaged and we had a very pleasant time :) also a nice plus is the free turkish delights !”
“Teacher was so sweet and my boyfriend and I, overall, are very happy with the class and the projects we made. Just some stuff to know, the space was very chaotic: there were so many people and the class structure was not very organized. For example we were standing around in the beginning because no one told us how to draw on our canvas, and at the end we almost missed out on shearing our carpets because, again, we weren’t told it was happening. The teacher however did stay an extra 30 minutes after class so people could finish shearing their projects (and it was already 9:30pm). So like I said, so sweet. Definitely take the class if you are interested, just bear in mind you might be walking into a bustling and energetic art studio that can feel quite overwhelming. Also they have some very generic stencils to pick from so if you want something more unique I suggest coming with an idea so you don’t waste anytime in the beginning.”
“came here for a bachelorette activity, we loved it and had so much fun tufting! our instructor Z was really helpful and encouraging. would definitely recommend!”
“Zi was amazing! So helpful and energetic. It was easy to reserve the class, find the location and head upstairs, and now I have a sick tufted rug art piece. Can’t recommend enough!”
