This was a super fun activity! It’s so cool to see your final creation at the end. The tufting process is long but so worth it. You get to be very creative, and relax at some points. But make sure to watch the clock so you can finish your piece. The instructor checked on everyone and provided help/tips. The instructor somehow managed many people all at once. Kudos to him! He’ll help put on the adhesive in the back and you’ll shave and trim the rug.

Keith was a great teacher. Super positive, knew how to help us get the results we wanted, supported our overly ambitious design goals, and generously let us run over the allotted time. We were shocked at how good the results were.

Keith was such a good teacher and made the class very fun. All the rugs we saw turned out great. Definitely recommend.

Who knew punching yarn into fabric could feel like therapy and rebellion? Keith’s tufting workshop was an absolute blast. He’s one of those rare teachers who’s both chill and meticulous—he somehow keeps the vibe light while making sure you actually learn how to use a tufting gun without turning your rug (or yourself) into abstract performance art. The setup was gorgeous, the materials were high-quality, and Keith’s music playlist alone deserves its own star. Everyone left with something wildly different—rainbows, faces, geometric dreams—and that’s what made it magical. It’s creative chaos, skillfully contained by someone who really loves what he does. Would absolutely do it again. My rug is now the proudest thing in my living room.
