“Highly recommend doing this class! Jesse created a welcoming, approachable, and cozy environment for learning. She is very organized and prepared. First, she walked us through the basics of macarons, then taught us a Swiss meringue with demos and tips + tricks. We practiced our piping before applying it to the templates she made herself. While the macarons dried and baked, we learned how to make a buttercream filling with multiple flavors. The class was well-paced, with lots of opportunity for teaching, practice, and feedback.
It was easy for any experience level to learn about the basics of making macarons, get comfortable with piping, and create delicious and beautiful macarons. Can't wait to take another class :)”
“We had a great time! Jesse is super detail oriented and it's obvious that a lot of thought and preparation went into how she wanted the experience to be for the students. The instructions were easy to follow yet thorough, setting us up with the skills and knowledge to make macarons successfully at home too.
The small class size (6 people) also allowed for Jesse to come around to each student and show us examples of piping technique, give feedback, help fix any mistakes, etc. She is very knowledgeable and patient- made for a very fun class!”
