“Jesse’s Character Macaron Making Class was excellent. She provided a thorough explanation of the different types of meringues and how technique, such as over-mixing, can affect the outcome. Jesse also shared the specific ingredients and tools she uses, which was very insightful. During the hands-on portion, she demonstrated the decorating process on one macaron and then guided us as we completed the remaining ones ourselves. She also provided a detailed written guide via email covering everything discussed in class, along with a complete list of tools, making it easy to reference later and purchase anything we may be missing. The class was well-structured, highly informative, and Jesse was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and kind. I would highly recommend this class to anyone interested in learning the art of character macarons.”
“This was my second time baking macarons with Jesse and it was as fun as the first time! She is a wonderful instructor and breaks down the steps of baking macarons so it's easy to understand. If you're looking for a fun weekend activity, this is it!”
“This class was a great family activity with my 11 and 9 year old. Jesse is patient and so sweet. My kids shared all the macarons with their friends who all loved the cat macarons. I definitly recomend.”
“My friend and I went to the workshop to spend some fun time together. We both love baking and have a sweet tooth, so the class was a perfect fit for us
The workshop took place in a small group and in a beautiful setting, which allowed the teacher to give us individual attention. Even though some of us had no baking experience whatsoever, she managed to explain everything at a very understandable pace.
At the end of the day, everyone went home with 12 beautifully designed macarons (using her own designs). We didn’t have to make the mixture all by ourselves—it was a group effort, which I actually loved, because piping the macarons was already quite a bit of work.
Everything was great! The only thing I didn’t like was that the mixture we used for our first piping practice was thrown away. In my opinion, it could have been baked instead of discarded.
Other than that, I highly recommend the workshop to anyone who’s into sweets, baking, or simply wants to learn something new.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to add some pictures to do technical issues.”
“The class was great! It was a lot of fun and the teacher shared all the tips and techniques. She is clear and kind and helps us fix our mistakes as well. And in the end we get to make beautiful and yummy macarons!!”
“Jesse was a patient and motivating instructor. The idea of making macarons was always intimidating. However Jesse made my first macaron experience fun and manageable. Not only did I make macarons, I made fun and adorable shapes! The class was a great way to spend a Saturday morning! My only regret is I didn't bring my daughter!”
“Jesse explained difficult macaron techniques in such an easy way, and I loved learning how to make the super cute designs too! I’ll definitely join your other classes!”
