“Wow — I truly can’t recommend this class enough. If you care about value and high-quality learning, this is absolutely the class for you. The ingredients they use are incredibly refined, and the lesson itself was so in-depth and thoughtfully structured.
As someone who’s been a coffee drinker my entire life, this was my first real introduction to the matcha world—which can feel intimidating if you don’t fully understand it. My instructor was incredibly thorough and informative, breaking everything down in a way that made matcha feel approachable and exciting rather than overwhelming.
I happened to be the only person in the class, so I was lucky enough to get even more personalized insight, but honestly, regardless of class size, the experience is exceptional. The setting is beautiful, the tools are high-end, and the matcha itself is top grade. Learning from a true professional in that kind of environment is hard to beat.
For $60, it’s truly a no-brainer.”
“Such a fun class! Jayanna was so patient and thorough when explaining the various types of matchas, the production process and the proper techniques for a matcha latte. The matchas selected were very clearly high quality and delicious to taste. Making the latte art was also so fun. I couldn’t recommend this class more to anyone who likes matcha or is just looking for a fun experience! Thank you Jayanna for the class!”
“We had an amazing lesson with Jayanna at Kettl. She was very knowledgeable about different regions of matcha cultivation throughout Japan and shared about the how flavour profiles for early / late harvest differ as well as the importance of stone milling for perfect matcha. We had a lot of fun whisking our matcha and learning how to steam and pour latte art. Enjoyed a soba cookie and a discount for purchasing anything else in store before heading out. Would love to try more of their offerings!”
“I learned how to properly make hot matcha. my teacher was nice and helpful to both me and my friend. It was my first time using the materials, but it won’t be my last! I enjoyed the matcha art the most.”
