“My boyfriend and I had a great time doing this sushi class. Kaz and his assistant Ken did a great job helping and walking us through the art of sushi making, and we quickly learned it’s a lot harder than it looks. You make plenty of rolls throughout the class, and at the end are able to indulge on your hard work, or make more rolls with extra sushi. You will be extremely satisfied with all the sushi you make, and even have enough for leftovers they recommend eating next day. Definitely a great date night activity, and really enjoyed being in Japantown to explore before and after”
“The class was absolutely amazing! Kaz is such an excellent teacher and we learned so much. The sushi was delicious and I’m excited to put the skills we learned tonight to work.”
“So fun! I got this as a gift for my friend and i to do together. we had so much fun and were sooo stuffed by the end. We ended up bringing a lot of it home. well worth the price!! & they were so nice helping us and offering more ingredients if we wanted them. THANK YOU!”
“My cousin gave me this class as a holiday gift and we had the best time! The fish is fresh and everything is prepped for you in advance so you get to focus on making your American rolls, hand rolls and Maki rolls. Definitely bring a Tupperware for to-go items, as we had extra sushi. We learned knife skills and how to purchase the best sushi grade fish. Our class was held at Hotel Kabuki which has a full bar. Make sure to eat a snack before going as they recommend not eating until the end of class. Thank you Kaz and Alex!”
“If you’re looking for a hands-on, fun, and super informative sushi making class, look no further! Katz and his assistant Ken were absolutely fantastic knowledgeable, engaging, and full of great tips that made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
We made five different rolls, each with its own techniques and tricks, and learned so much about everything from knife skills to rice seasoning to perfecting the roll (spoiler: it’s all about the right amount of pressure!). Katz and Ken kept the class flowing smoothly, offering guidance and encouragement while making sure we had a blast.
I walked away feeling way more confident in my sushi-making skills, and, most importantly, everything we made was delicious. Highly recommend this class for anyone who loves sushi and wants to learn from the best. Thank you, Katz and Ken!”
