Learned so much and had a great time! The teacher and assistant were both terrific. Also loved the venue at the Hotel Kabuki.

My boyfriend and I had a great time doing this sushi class. Kaz and his assistant Ken did a great job helping and walking us through the art of sushi making, and we quickly learned it’s a lot harder than it looks. You make plenty of rolls throughout the class, and at the end are able to indulge on your hard work, or make more rolls with extra sushi. You will be extremely satisfied with all the sushi you make, and even have enough for leftovers they recommend eating next day. Definitely a great date night activity, and really enjoyed being in Japantown to explore before and after

My cousin gave me this class as a holiday gift and we had the best time! The fish is fresh and everything is prepped for you in advance so you get to focus on making your American rolls, hand rolls and Maki rolls. Definitely bring a Tupperware for to-go items, as we had extra sushi. We learned knife skills and how to purchase the best sushi grade fish. Our class was held at Hotel Kabuki which has a full bar. Make sure to eat a snack before going as they recommend not eating until the end of class. Thank you Kaz and Alex!
