“Brian struck a great balance of being hands on when we needed redirection or help, while also letting us have the creative freedom to do what we wanted. He was incredibly informative and helped us understand why we were doing certain steps and how we could help the structural integrity of our pieces. The semi private class allowed for us to ask questions as needed and take it at our own pace, and the space was very clean and cozy.
The class is structured in a way that allowed you to make whatever pieces you wanted to go home with. I had my mind set on making a chips and dip plate (that had the little dip bowl attached in the middle), and Brian made sure to demonstrate it and provide clear instructions to help me feel confident in doing this on my own. I ended with three pieces and my boyfriend ended with four. I would highly recommend this as a date activity!
At the end of the class, we picked our glazes and made notes for how we wanted our pieces to be finished. We will be back to pick them up in a couple weeks and couldn't be more excited to see how they turn out!”
“My friend and I really enjoyed this pottery class with Brian!! I’ve taken a pottery class before but this private, one-on-one style is worlds better. 10/10 would do this again and will be recommending his class to my friends!”
“Brain was patient and kind, very thoughtful to prepare hot water for us to throw so our hands don't get cold while constantly being wet. I made a large mug, carved it, and took the risk to put on white porcelain. It was easy to get gift card via email.”
“Teacher was patient and very informative, though I would have appreciated a heads up that I couldn’t park on the side of the street on Tuesdays between 12-2”
