“With the investment in a new Aerocover for our expensive garden furniture (my wife thought we needed, furniture that is), I thought my garden furniture protection was sorted, it was good but didn't cover all weather situations. After the recent strong winds and finding the cover blown off one morning, I found I needed these additional (and good value) 'Sand Bag For Cover Supports', which I would say is a must have for holding the cover down. Without them, a strong breeze can lift the cover off as it did for us (its essentially a big horozontal sail) so weight is needed to hold it down. The weights are best positioned in the centre of each long side, not the corners as the draw string helps there. Very handily, the bags do unclip so leaving the weight on the ground. You could use small stones rather than sand but the choice is yours.
We spent three days drying out the cushions in the house, which could have been avoided if I'd bought these first. If you need an Aerocover than you need the sand bags as well.”
