“This is in my opinion an amazing grinder both esthetically & functionally. It pairs perfectly with my Rocket R58 Cinquantotto. At first I was disappointed as the grinder made a mess with fine grids all over. It was wasting coffee & making a mess. However, there is a dousing funnel in either silver or black for about $30 that totally solved the issue. No more spay when in use & very easy to manage the prep now. My only other negative is the plastic opener for the hopper. Some small particles from the beans get out because it doesn’t close totally. It’s a common problem with all brands because of the cheap plastic used. All & all I’m totally pleased with this fast & relatively quiet beauty.”

The Oro XL and the R58 Cinquantotto is a serious setup — glad it's living up to both. And you're spot on about the dosing funnel — it's a small add-on that makes a big difference, and we should probably be recommending it more proactively with every Mignon purchase. “What a difference! As a newbie to coffee, having this has allowed me to dial in my espresso machine shots perfectly. I waited for the Chrome to match my Bianca, and am SO GLAD I did. Gorgeous machine, pure luxury item yet functional.”

“The grinder is great! I came from Ceado E5P that was a really good grinder but on demand and for my need I wanted a dosing programmable grinder to be able to speed up multiple back to back drinks for party of people that I entertain often! I like the grind quality and the look of the Chrome version is stunning to say the least, next to my Rocket Appartamento looks great! The overall purchase process and discount that Cliff and Pebble offers was great experience, would definitely recommend this distributor and definitely recommend this grinder, a big step up from Specialita due to larger 65mm burrs that are diamond coated for longevity! Simply a good option if you don’t want the bulkiness of Atom grinders.”
