“I was impressed with how nice the packaging was and how easy it was to remove. The finish is superb, it looks and feels so good. I taught my wife how to use this machine and she made note of how much more consistent the espresso is over the Breville Barista Express we replaced. I love being able to steam my milk and pull a shot simultaneously. And I love the joystick valves and wooden accents. It just feels very high end. And the build quality feels great. The only thing I’d change on this machine is the location of the power switch. Otherwise this thing is perfect and I love using it every single day. The bang for your buck is well worth it.”

The Gallatin is such a satisfying upgrade from the Barista Express — your wife noticed exactly the right thing. Simultaneous brew and steam changes everything once you've experienced it. The joystick valves are one of our favorite details on that machine too — they just feel right. Noted on the power switch placement, you're not the first to mention it.
