“I bought these to replace some that had a part missing. Compared with the origianl Swedish ones, these are poor quality and I am very disappointed with them. I had expected German made things to be at least on a par with the Swedish ones.”

Thank you for your feedback Christine. We appreciate that you taken time to provide your opinion. Many newly made items are using lighter weight materials or more affordable materials compared with originals made in the past. Sadly this is driven by consumer demand for cheaper products however where it is possible to still source quality made version we try to make both versions available to our customers. In this case, this is the only version of this product that we can currently find and it is priced accordingly at $25 and includes the 4 candles. Many of our wooden made Christmas pyramids that work on a similar principal are high quality and still manufactured in the Erzgebirge region of Germany. When compared to similar items made in Eastern Europe or Asia they are many times more expensive and therefore not as popular to non-genuine collectors.
