“I am very happy with my clock. It is perfect for what I was looking for - powered by gravity/nature, no batteries, with religious symbols on it and not gimmicky. The lady on the phone told me this style is how cuckoo clocks were traditionally decorated so I am happy that it is an authentic curio. The wood is stunning. After fine tuning the pendulum I was losing 2 seconds per day which is as good as the finest Swiss watch, until the 42 degree day hit and it went haywire, but it did return to baseline after. I can't fault it and I do not regret my purchase in the slightest. I don't know what else to say, it is what it is, a cuckoo clock, and there is nothing about it I don't like. You can turn the cuckoo off at night with a lever. The cuckoo is very soothing and not sharp at all and the gong adds an extra layer of smoothness, it is not harsh or sharp in person. It is even reminiscent of a bottle of Jagermeister if you are into drinking games! I am so happy that I bought this clock.”
