The service from the clock shop was efficient. The actual devices tune was barely recognisable as Danny Boy. The tune was rapid and disappointing. I was having it incorporated in a musical box for my sister and chose the air especially for her. She didn’t recognise it as Danny Boy

Dear Ruth, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you're sister was unable to recognise the tune. We have not received any feedback similar to this however I understand the melody is not the full rendition and rather a group of the most recognisable bars of the original melody repeating as the cylinder rotates. As the music boxes increase in size, and with larger combs (more notes) the tunes become more elaborate. The 18 note music boxes are limited by the number of notes and the tune is more simplified. We are trying to get recordings of these available on our website to assist customers when making their purchase. Thank you again for your feedback. Kind Regards, Clock Shop Team
