“The Colombian is advertised as medium roast but is a medium dark roast with the distinct flavor of charcoal which I do not like. It was roasted approximately 4 months before it was shipped and had lost a lot of its flavor. My experience is that coffee needs 3 or 4 days after it is roasted to finish the roasting process and needs to be consumed by about 3 weeks after it is roasted. (I have my own roaster but prefer to buy my coffee already roasted so I don't fill up my kitchen with smoke from the roaster!) I would buy Columbian coffee again if I could get the coffee roasted to order and roasted medium to medium light roast. Gilbert Jackson B S Chemistry UNC 1969”
