I've reached out to Eureka about whether what I'm experiencing is a fault or standard and they haven't got back to me.
Out of the box 30 seemed to be the zero point, and since it seems to jump all over the place. As an example, yesterday I started a grind at 49, while grinding it jumped to 37, than 31. I just reset to 47, during the next grind it became 55. The instructions suggest it is still consistent if this happens, owever it does than seem to provide a different grind- even though I haven't touched it. Who really knows, but not what you want for the price. This makes me question all the computing advantages as well. I basically have to ignore these. I'm finding the calibration all over the place, and untrustworthy.
Just as a little additional thing, the portafilter pad is a little askew. A very little thing, but bugs me when I notice it. I think I’ll peel and re-stick it but annoying that I need to.”
