While the overall vanity and sink are beautiful, we had so many problems with this order that I can’t give it a very good review. First, after ordering we were notified that there was a very long delay of several weeks for delivery as this was backordered. I believe it was six weeks. After waiting an excessive amount of time (with additional delays) for delivery, we finally received the vanity. The marble top did not arrive with it. In fact, the moving company tried to deliver something that belonged to someone else, not related to the order. When the marble top finally arrived about a week and a half later we found that the sink had been mounted not on center and it was very obviously mounted incorrectly. Additionally there were bits of a yellow Epoxy type glue around the edge of the bowl and quite visible even from the top. After numerous phone calls and emails vanities depot said they would send another one. It took a few more weeks to receive the second one, meanwhile the first one, which was very heavy, lived in our entranceway which was highly inconvenient. When the second one finally arrived, the bowl was also slightly mounted off center, but barely noticeable. Also this had a similar strange yellowed epoxy but it was not really visible from the top. Frankly, the oval cut out for a sink for this 48 inch vanity seems really quite small And it has an ogee edge which seems strange considering that the outer edge of the countertop is squared. Also, the overflow drain hole has a cheap plastic chrome-look trim piece that fits into it, so it’s disappointing that it’s plastic but it’s also potentially problematic for someone who has a different finish as we did with an oil rubbed bronze faucet set. Furthermore, the “laminated edge” involves a piece of what we were told would be granite on the underside of the counter. As it turns out it is a multi colored piece of Corian or similar manufactured products and if you kneel down to pick something up or get into the cabinets you can see this. Additionally, the marble top did not fit on the top of the vanity with the additional wood pieces mounted on top. There was a visible gap where you could see those risers which seemed like either the marble top was an uneven thickness or the risers were not an even thickness so the countertop sits higher on one side. After putting the caulking/adhesive all over the top of the risers we found this issue, so required pulling a heavy top off and removing all the risers quickly. Placed directly on the vanity, this looks much better. The vanity overall is very pretty and seems pretty solid, but please note this is NOT walnut as the listing I bought from originally said. There’s a decent amount of veneer on the piece which is disappointing for something this pricy. Also, to get a standard pull up-type drain stopper in (the kind with tailpiece) the drain pipe would need to come from below the vanity, or off center of the sink as the clearance from the bowl To the bottom of the vanity inside is not enough to accommodate a P-trap and a drain assembly with tail piece. Additionally! One of the pulls on the front was manufactured with too much of a gap and the pull kept falling out of the loop. Another two weeks later I received replacements. It took months to get this into place... next time I think I’d have one built by a carpenter!
