“Not my favorite Owl City record, believe it or not, but I suppose that's saying something as I hold it in rather high esteem. I think the record is more consistent than its predecessor, Ocean Eyes, but it doesn't have Fireflies which placed Adam on the proverbial map (although I've been a fan since the Myspace days).
Despite its less-famous nature, it's a bit more diverse in terms of songwriting and sonics than Ocean Eyes or Maybe I'm Dreaming. If you're a fan of Owl City's original sound, this record is the last time he really tapped into that ethos; that's not to put down the records that have followed suit, mind you.”
