Steam distilled hydrosol waters are one of our most ancient nourishing skin care traditions. They're created from plants and that’s it! You can toss your conventional toner (often a hidden source of drying alcohol) and reach for pure steamed distilled hydrosol water to tone, add moisture and support a strong acid mantle and glowing skin. 100% organic, alcohol and perfume free.

“LOVE this hydrosol toner! I grew up when the standard beauty routine included a toner full of alcohol, and my skin didn't like that, so I've thought toners were unnecessary and a waste of money. In the last few years I got interested in spritzing rose water onto my face, which smelled nice and was uplifting to my mood but I didn't see any difference in my skin. Then I found Valerie and her products at her store last fall and when reordering some of the Delicate Skin All Over Aloe Lotion (which is divine!) I ordered some of the Hydrosol Water Toner/Tonic and fell in love with it. I finally understood the purpose of a toner and was delighted to capture more moisture into my skin. I spritz it generously twice daily on my face then follow with the Delicate Skin All Over Aloe Lotion. A terrific combo! I ran out of the hydrosol and tried two other hydrosol facial spritzes/toners, and that's when I really knew I'd found a gem with Valerie's creation. Hers is the best in feel and scent and ingredients. The others I tried, I would have had to mix in other ingredients like the witch hazel to get the effect I get from Valerie's. So I was happy to reorder more when I needed more lotion and soap (LOVE the unscented olive oil soap bar).”

“I have been trying to figure out my toner game for years, now. You either get a formula with, like, forty-seven ingredients and spend all day on EWG trying to figure out what'll get ya, or… it's like just some water they waved some lavender leaves over. What are we s'posed to do…? Well, Valerie has solved this dilemma, thank goodness. This hydrosol looked fantastic, although it was the one I was most wondering about trying because of my super-sensitive skin, but… it's all love. Phew! And it's a game changer for me. Finally getting the pH low enough. Happy acid mantle… happy skin. (Can't explain it myself, but Valerie knows! Read all about it. It's kind of fascinating.) My skin is calmer and less red, and the moisture is staying where it belongs! And just a few spritzes! Couldn't be easier. I follow it up with her Retin-Alt (so clever) repair oil and/or the luscious Rain Drops Cream. This one-of-a-kind shop is a find and a half! Really. What a relief to be able to say that…”

“I purchased dew drops, rain drops, hydrosol and shampoo in December..The shampoo left my hair silky soft and I dont have as much hair loss..So grateful for that..My face feels so hydrated and the redness is so much better..I am planning to order more products very soon. “Okay, I wasn’t sure I really needed this. Really? Spray water on my face?? But YES! It is wonderful (and so much more than just splashing plain ol tap water on my face). Lovely, nice scent and a great base for applying Dew Drops moisturizer after cleansing.”

“What a wonderful product to have in my routine! I use this after I wash my face with the infused honey mask or cold cream cleanser and I can tell that my skin loves how it it balances the pH. I recommend using the rain or dew drops right after too for luscious and glowing skin! Love it!”

“I LOVE Valerie's Hydrosol Toner. Is perks up my skin and prepares it for moisturizing. The rose scent is perfectly soft and subtle. My husband often says "Hmmm, you smell so good!" and I know it is her toner. Highly recommend it! She is a real, caring person with unique and ethical products. In other words, a treasure.”
