Three months in and this wonder cream has made such a difference. I had the other steps worked out (just not with the great versions of everything I'm using from this awesome shop, now!), but I was missing that all-important foundational one where I get a great humectant ("water-loving, or hydrophilic ingredients that attract water") in place to actually hold all the needed moisture in! Wow. My skin is so happy with me right now. This is technically an oil-meets-"water" cream, but the lovely formulator Valerie uses organic Aloe _Juice_ (not the preservative-heavy gel variety) for the extra oomph it provides over water alone! Plus it's very calming for my super-sensitive skin. And then she loads it up with all the other goodness—Alpha Bisabolol + Hyaluronic Acid + Calendula Glycerite (and not only proudly displays her ingredients, but actually takes the time to explain why they were individually and collectively chosen!). I have tried so many products—and good products, too—with great ingredients and well-meaning formulators, that still caused my skin to have a bad reaction! So frustrating. I really think now that the missing step in the equation was having someone with the skill and experience to put it all together in the right way. What a difference it makes! Many, many thanks to the creative force behind all of this—thanks, Valerie!

I figured someone dealing with the challenges of high-altitude Colorado weather would have the experience to know what dry skin really is… and I was right! This cream is something else. It's turned out to be the missing ingredient in my regimen. (Well, okay… I'll probably say that about a few others, as well—lol.) I was using good butters and oils, but… oil can't moisturize. It only holds the water in if it's already there, via something like this water-based cream. (And I spray a few spritzes of her Plant Hydrosol toner just before this goes on.) And a little bit goes a surprisingly long way. (Although I'd order a five-gallon bucket if I could!) I appreciate the super-easy-to-apply texture—smooth as silk—and the lasting feeling of hydration. But I really appreciate the all-natural/all-good-for-you ingredients list she has skillfully put together. Valerie is clearly someone who knows what she's doing when it comes to formulating a quality product that will actually work. And you can tell from her site that she's more than done her homework. (It's like a skincare Wikipedia!) Plus, she gathers many of the ingredients herself! That's amazing. Who can say that? A forager… a formulator… and a super-friendly shop owner. What's not to love…?

I LOVE this cream! I use this in my nightly routine and every morning I wake up with soft, happy, glowing, and moisturized skin! Val is so knowledgeable about skin and this cream actually hydrates my skin correctly! Perfect repair for my skin after dry and sunny days. This works great after her cold cream cleanser and hydrosol toner too!

Val goes out of her way to make sure that you get just the products that you need and that you are happy with them. Her product scents are amazing. The dew drops and rain drops are keeping my facial skin looking young, and the body lotion and butter are just what my dry skin needed. Her products make great gifts as well. Everyone I have gifted loved her products.

Face mask may be a protection against corona virus but I can say that there is a downside to it. My skin gets irritated every time I wear a surgical or washable cloth mask. My face gets red and itchy. It seems that the only way to avoid it is to stay at home all the time so I will not be compelled to wear a face mask. But it is impossible to stay home all the time all of us need to go out sometime. Thank God I found Raind Drops my skin problems are now gone. And the soap works wonders too. Will surely order again.
