I previously purchased an aftermarket steel burn pot. It didn't last very long. While requesting parts, the parts person and I talked about burn pots so I ordered your cast iron version. I forgot how sturdy and less prone it is to cracking and deformity due to the heat of the fire. Thanks again for supporting your products by having parts to replace those that will need it!

The quality of the burn pits is very good , but I should tell you that I bought a metal file and filed off about an 1/8 th of an inch from the back top edge and the same off the circle flange that the igniter rod flange fits into...i did this because the burn pits was very very difficult remove and reinstall and now it's easier .

The original pot cracked. They knew of a casting issue, and replaced it for free.

The cast iron burn pot is complete garbage. The burn pot develops a crack and widens over time. It needs to be replaced every 3 months when used on a daily basis.
