Very easy to install. My chimney has a heat box installed when the house was built. After receiving the stove, I wasn't sure if the flexpipe would fit through the flue correctly, but it worked out perfectly. I'm very pleased.

One year now, I am happy with the stove. Recently one of the wires in the four wire connection was visibly broken, this was on the top monitor, where it plugs into the back. When I put the wire back in the slot it broke off from, the stove would work, but every time I opened the hopper I had to do this. Pretty obivious this was the problem. Last year when I put on the optional hoppper, I didn't replace the four pronged wire with the longer cord. I called Comfortbuilt tech help, he immediately read off a list of parts I need, including a new mother board. He said he could give me a 75% discount, but didn't give me a price. So, I asked him what the price would be, I think he said around $250. He was clearly trying to sell me something I didn't need, not what I would expect from a technician who I called for advice. He said, rather nastly I thought, "well, I'm just tryng to be helpful, I can't gaurantee the broken cord is your problem". Well, the wire was visibly broken, and when I put the wire in the slot on the connector, the stove worked, but every time I opened the hopper the wire came loose., and the stove would shut down. I would guess that is the problem, don't you think? As the saying goes, I wasn't born yesterday. I ordered the longer four wire cord, on my own, and replaced it, and have had no problem since. That cord was $30, with shipping, too expensive for what it is, but a lot cheaper than $250, for parts I didn't need. So, really, really poor service from Comfortbuil, a total rip-off if I had believed the technician, I found this experience to be an insult to my intelligence.

overall I'm happy with my hp21, only complaint is having to order 2 new ignitors each year. they seem to be the weak link in your system.

The stove was ordered and arrived in a timely matter. We have not got it running yet but soon. Seemed to have an extra piece inside? Do not know what it is so I guess we will remove it. Husband called about it but didn't get an answer.

With the new upgrade control I hope that I don't have anymore trouble this winter. It has been running for a week now and so far so good. Last winter I had to replace the main power switch and 2 igniters after it kept blowing the fuse and I was starting to get a little disappointed in the purchase of the stove. I really like the way it keeps our house nice and warm when its 15 degrees outside. The tech that I talked with online was very helpful in helping me diagnose the problem.

It took me a while to determine what type and correct size I needed for the vacuum that came with my pellet stove. The man I spoke with over the phone was very helpful, kind and sent me the correct filter. Thank you for your knowledge, kindness and customer service!! We don’t get that much these days and I’m grateful for your help.

Getting quite a few Low temp alerts. When I run it in manual, I have no problem. When it runs in temp, it poofs and fills the house with smoke and the burn pot ends up full of unburned pellets. Help
