“The stove is very quiet and puts out more heat than the Quadrafire 800 that I was replacing. I haven’t had any of the problems with the auger stopping when the hopper is half full that the other reviews mention. Customer service was also great when I needed new magnets for the door, which broke during shipping. My only complaint is the shipping times. I ordered the stove through Home Depot and it took a month to get here. The magnets took 2 weeks and it was just an envelope. I have noticed that it generates more ash than my previous stove, but that just amounts to slightly more frequent cleaning and is a small trade off for the value of the stove.”

“I like the stew I don’t like the igniter and the burn pot is cracked. I don’t last long. It’s been cracked a year after I got it and that’s my god honest truth. The MacNider should last a lot longer than they do your comfortability. You find a better one thank you.”

“Mother Board went out thought it was power surge, But wasn’t what caused it. Stops a lot when Hopper is Half full. I’ve empty hopper checked found nothing, changed to different pellets same problem. Door gasket leaked they did replaced it.”

“Nice stove. Safety switch went out on bin in first week. We use a lot more pellets with this stove than our last stove. The blower in the burn pot is too strong and blows burning embers out. The blower is not adjustable as it is passworded out and needs a qualified service person to adjust it. I have ash that is blown out of my chimney and I need to clean out the pipe every week to keep it from getting clogged. It does produce a good amount of heat.”

“So glad I found Comfortbilt, they have their operation "dialed in" on all fronts. I bought the HP50S and I am very impressed with the quality of the unit. Puts out lots of heat and the blowers are quiet.”

“I purchased an hHP 22 in March of 24. It is a home run. So much so that in December of 2024 I bought an HP 21 to put in my garage workshop. That stove cost me $700 in piping and labor to have installed ... The fan motor seized in 3 weeks. So we had to return that stove. I purchased an HP 42 thinking it was a little bigger stove that it might work. When My pellet stove guy came to install it. He could not get it running. After a frustrating several hours back and forth with comfort built submitting tickets, we are still waiting for them to send us a control panel for a brand new stove that has not worked. I had animals in that garage. They have been in my library for 7 weeks. That's my review. I love the HP 22; however, after the company got sold, the cost of the stove went up $600. It's not lost on me that I spent $700 having a stove installed worked for 3 weeks. I could have bought another HP 22 and had a stove that works ... NOT HAPPY right now.”
