Our HP42 has not worked right since installing. We sent for a “ticket “ to get help. Had answer from chuck but no help. Videos sent were followed , we replaced All gaskets. The POF is not located where video or book shows, its been sealed in with heat adhesive and a weld so we cannot remove it to replace it. The “ low temperature “ err continues to come up with “to much smoke “ This has been very frustrating . We bought the stove last year February through PayPal to replace our 5 year old pelpro. We hooked it up this November and the problem started immediately. After looking into hp42 reviews I found a review of this stove with POF in same place as mine. That one the pof had broke and blocked feed tube and was welded in like this one. I have aske to refund or replace but chuck does not answer . This needs to be taken care of so if you do not want to replace it then refund the money. We have purchased another pellet stove while we go through this. I have advanced cancer and continual trying to get hp42 stove working became a burden. So bought a grand teton. Please help us resolve this issue by replacing or refunding. If I could attach a picture you would be able to see the problem of where pof is welded in and heat clue. Please call my wife at 616 821-3260

After requesting help using comfortbilt.net, I waited for days with no response. I again responded to my request and days more past with no response. After going without heat in my home I called a comfortbilt sales rep and explained my situation and lack of help. I was than contacted by comfortbilt.net. When i explained the blower was not working and had waited over a week for some help I was told i would be getting the blower under warranty. I than waited for another week to recieve the new blower. Very disappointed in the lack of care, lack of follow up and lack of expedience.

I recently purchased my pellet stove. I got little disappointed since I emailed the company regarding my order. Nobody responded to my email. The manufacturer year says 2023. It’s late 2025 now. Was wondering why did I receive a 2 year old pellet stove ?? Hopefully someone will get back to me. Also it takes about 2 min for the pellet to turn on! Thank you,

We purchased an HP 41 Alpine had issues with it. The customer service staff worked very well with us getting us parts and troubleshooting. We ended up sending it back and buying another one. And the new one is working perfectly

This is the worst purchase ever. The first one I bought there were issues from the beginning I had to change the motherboard the control panel and then it still had issues so I sent it back to Lowe’s. Thought maybe I had a lemon so I ordered a new one which was exactly the same. What a stupid mistake that was. Started out with an extremely loud blower motor so I changed it after they sent me the part. Next blower motor did the same exact thing. They sent me a 3rd one. This one hadn’t made any noise yet, but instead, I got issues with the motherboard so I had to change the motherboard and the control panel on the second stove also and it started to have issues again. I sent it back once again and I went with a whole new brand and now I have a working pellet stove that’s been running nonstop for a week with no issues. Save your money, do not buy anything comfortbilt unless you want issues. Customer support told me they’re having major issues with the alpine by comfortbilt HP 42.

The motherboard fixed the problem with the no voltage at the anger motor. The HP50 now works properly.

Stove initially would only stay running on heat setting 4 and 5. Tech support helped get proper voltage adjustments to fix. Room blower motor stopped functioning two weeks later. Tech support sent new room blower that stopped functioning 3 days later. Tech support order new blower that is currently on back order. Very disappointed in the stoves performance.

I purchased and installed a HP22i at the beginning of 2025. Our first fire was in February of 2025 with little use (100 hours) before the season ended. In November 2025 we started using it again, after approximately 110 hours of burn time the auger stopped working. I opened up a trouble ticket with a description of the issue and pictures. I received a fast reply back on what to troubleshoot. After troubleshooting replacement parts were received within 2 days. After replacing those parts another issue was found with the board. That part was also received within 2 days. Comfortbilt was extremely understanding, responsive, and empathetic to the issues presented. The replies and parts were fast, which was huge as the HP22i is our primary heat source. After working with their service and support, I will continue to use Comfortbilt products for the foreseeable future. Stuff always breaks and things happen, how Comforbilt stood behind their product and offered their help is seldom seen in a company anymore. 100% would recommend.

Alpine hp42, solid build, looks awesome but i get more alarm error messages then its worth, im getting tired of everyday waking up and its cold, cause some error message popped up and shuts the unit down… whats the point of having a pellet stove to keep and maintain a temperature when it cancels itself out…

Product and customer service is outstanding. Quick response to operating questions as well as additional followup. Been running pellet stoves for 25 years and the HP 40 is easy to operate and maintain while providing excellent heat output in a small footprint.

To order on line is easy but I found a defect in the burn pot i just purchased in November, I have not even used it for a month! This is my second burnpot ,the other one I ordered cracked , the quality is not the same .

We bought two HP42 stoves, they are awesome. We have one in our house and one in our 24x40 pole building. Plus, the customer service is top notch. We highly reccomend Comfort Bilt.
