It would be a 5 but this is a replacement stove & after a week the control panel went blank. I called for a replacemnt part, but tech support has yet to respond. Not very happy, looking at a new unit from a different supplier.

After several years, we decided to replace our old ash vacuum. The first one we purchased was through ComfortBilt and we were pleased with the results, so we purchased the newer BJ1513 from them. This ash vacuum is powerful and gets the job done; however, I think the developers of the newer vacuum missed the mark on some important details. First, the electrical cord is shorter than the older vacuum. We now have to use an extension cord to plug in the vacuum where previously we did not. Second, the hose attachment is shorter than the older vacuum. The longer hose was nice so we did not have to move the collection canister around so much. Third, the metal attachment at the end of the hose loosens after several uses and has to be screwed back onto the hose. Fourth, the metal attachment is now larger, so anyone like us who purchased vaccum attachments cannot use them on the newer vacuum because the opening is now too big. We had to purchase an adapter so we did not have to buy new attachments. It would easily have been a 5 star rating if they would have kept the metal attachment size and duability, the hose length, and the cord length the same size.

Currently my new pellet stove is not working and everytime we try to start it, it gives a different code for why it won't start. Tech support is not "just a phone call away" I put in a trouble ticket, but the office is closed on weekends and after 1400 my time. I think i may have made a mistake purchasing a comfortbilt pellet stove.

I have tried to email about my brand new stove only running for 10 total days in the first month due to broken parts. No reply yet. Stove is garbage. It's a lot of money to spend on something that doesn't work.

I ordered two different types of gasket kits. I received only one type and one of the clean out port gaskets was incorrectly cut and wasn’t wide enough to cover the port properly to get a positive seal.

The stove now works very good. We had a problem with the room fan not working. After a bunch of emails to the company they finally got back to us. Resolved the problem with new parts that I put in and we’re good to go. Heats great. Now it’s just a matter of finding the right pellets that it likes best.

A week after we started using the stove, the control board died, we did get a new control board warranty We are finding that the stove does not put off as much heat as expected to heat the area that was noted online

All in all , had good luck with our stove. I do miss when you could call an talk to someone for help and answers to questions. I truly hope this company doesn't become like so many others that doesn't care much about customer service. Time will tell.

Couple things,I'm sceptical about the control panel it looks like it was installed previously. Also the packaging is terrible,not much was protected the burnpot was not secured and bouncing around against very sensitive items. I hope these items aren't defective after banging against each other when I need to replace a worn part.

The ordering process was good. The customer service sucks a big turd. After sending in a request for help, it took 5 days to get back and all the service guy said was that the stove needed to be cleaned(which I had already explained in the request). Even after the first response the technician still insisted the problem was a dirty stove. I ended up diagnosing and buying the controller electronics package which fixed the problems I described. I have onwed pellet stoves for over 30 years and this was the worst customer service hands down for help!!!!!!!!

No support. 9 days I had this POS. Everything is online. Submit a ticket. Wait 24 hours or over a week. No one knows. You lost 2 customers over having no support when we called. Live chat as your next question....that wasn't available either.

HP50 has been reliable for 5 years. When I had an issue due to a power surge, they helped me get it fixed.

customer service is always top notch not always as fast response as we would like but always responds that's the most important part stove easy to work on and very reliable get more heat than you want most times excellent product
