“Hp42 worst stove ever. I can't believe they still sell this knowing it has massive issues. Comfortbilt would replace the stove "if i paid $600 more" After I spent hours upon hours fixing a brand new machine. No thanks. Won't buy from them again. 4 parts needed replacing in less than 60 days. I only got to use it for 2 weeks. And spent the remainder of the time waiting on parts or working on it.”

“Hp42 alpine are junk. 5 days after purchase I had my first issue. Takes a week to get parts sent and I had to install/repair myself. Control board went, then interior fan went, then wires from auger motor were not attached (crimped into the coupler). Stove ran correctly for about 1-2 weeks total during sub zero temps I really needed this to work. Then airflow issue. Then they were not sure of the issue and why i continued to get alarm and unit shut down. I spent HOURS/DAYS working on the unit. Then I got sick of fixing my BRAND NEW unit.... Research showed EVERYONE has issues with this model. They offered a replacement but expected me to spend an additional 600.00 to get it FOR SHIPPING. Awful experience! Said they would call me back but never did.”

“I haven’t had any problems with my new pellet stove, besides a faulty temp wire. I contacted Comfortbilt and received a replacement which I installed and it worked the first time I turned it on. The heat generated from this stove is wonderful. I’m hoping my gas bill goes down to help save money as well as heating the majority of my home.”

“Took a while to get my questions answered and then the part I needed got lost in shipment but then everything worked out okay I have some warranty issues that have to be taking care of I hope everything works out the pellet stove i bought is very nice a couple of issues and I hope we get them taking care of”

“I gave Comfortbilt 4 starts because there technical service is awesome. Though I am a bit dissapointed with the HP42 stoves we bought. We bought one for our house and one for our pole building. We use the stoves for our primary heating source. We have had issues with both stoves with lighting and staying lit. After the great help with Eddy and Daniel in the technical service, I think the issues are fixed for now. Time will tell.”
