Part replacement (steel burn pot) has had to be replaced multiple times. They are not made correct to fit in the older stove Legacy pre 2018. Last one came warped and had to be replaced right away. Hope they can get this resolved with these stoves so we don't have to buy a whole new one.

It's always pleasant dealing with the people at Comfortbilt. Why 3 stars? I recently purchased a new burn pot for my HP22 pellet stove. This is my 3rd one in 7 years. No complaints. The new burn pot would not fit. I called and spoke with someone in parts who sent me a replacement and a return label to send the first one back. The new one did not fit either. Same as the first. Spoke with someone in technical support who said that the new burn pots were being cast as all one piece instead of having the locating tab on the back welded on and some were sized incorrectly. He (and I) both concluded that the tab should be ground down to facillitate the fit. I have the abilty and equipment to do this. But what if I didn't. You're sending out a $100 part to customers, knowing that they don't fit, and expecting the customer to modify the item aprropriately? Not a very good look. You're the ones who should be doing the modifying, not me. Disappointed in Massachusetts.

I like my stove, but in 4 years I have replaced the igniter 3 times and the burnpot twice. I use my stove 4-5 months a year, and it seems like thes parts should be designed to last a little longer.

This is the third (in 4 years) fire pot I’ve needed due to the first 2 cracking. The first one was replaced under warranty but the 3rd one cost me $80. It will, I’m afraid, be an ongoing problem. I love everything else about the pellet stove.

I don't like that a quarter of a bag of pellets stays in the hooper and the fire goes out. That is a poor design, my last stove would burn down to the last pellet

Admittedly, my rating is harsh... I will explain... First, Tech Support was great, and the online videos are awesome! However, I ran into 3 issues: 1) their hours of operation don't align well with my schedule on the west coast, so it took me several weeks to call them at a time I could actually troubleshoot the ignitor with someone. 2) the menu on the HP22 unit has a terribly dated and confusing interface, so even though their videos are great, the UI is so bad, I don't trust myself to follow their instructions. 3) ignitor compatability info on the website was incorrect, and I amost purchased the wrong part several times trying to roll the dice and do it myserlf. The Gen 3 quarts ignitors are rated at 30k ignitions, while the old steel ones are about 1000. That is a HUGE difference. The Gen 3 part works with my stove, but was not listled on the website. Because I was unable to connect with tech support more quickly, we ran our furnace for a month. Our heating bill doubled! Accurate info on the website is critical when your have such little availability, especially for people on the West Coast.

Did not receive second part ordered under warranty. And no explanation why. I prefer the opportunity to speak to a technician

Replacement worked ok, how ever I ordered a "parts kit" last year and that one did not work at all as a replacement. I ordered two parts kits for two different stoves, sent to my NH house. Tax free

I love everything about our new pellet stove EXCEPT you can't adjust the blower to a lower speed and the crazy amount of dust. It's never ending. We've tried four different kinds of pellets too. We have the Comfort Built HP21. Otherwise I would have gave it a 5 Star ⭐

The Pellet Stove shroud came damaged and upon my request for a new shroud I could only be offered an extended warranty since it was the trucking companies fault. Its just a shame you order a 3k stove, its delivered damaged, and there was not even the slightest consideration of replacement. I know, i know; check the boxes for damage prior to acceptance. But when my father recieves the pallet for me and didnt open the all the boxes to ensure no damage it turns into our fault. The door of the stove was hanging off of the hinges as well once opened. Just poor shipment. Again, not comfortbilts fault, but they do own the agreements with the trucking company. Overall, though Stove blows some awesome heat and can rip through some pellets. Im recommending the stove to others. Just caution to take your time to open the all boxes prior to acceptance.

So far the stove works great would be better if the manual would cover more about the stove for operation and use. Comfortbilt doesn't answer emails I have sent 2 and not a response as of yet. Wasn't a problem with stove just wanted to know info on there gen3 igniter and if it will fit in a hp40 and some info on the thermostat setting and install

Your chat tech support is great. I had nothing but trouble with my hp 22 n. They sent me the parts to replace the defective parts. But in general, it seem it’s a cheaply made stove. Room fan gave out right away. The auger moaned very soon after install. The front and back doors rattle. It smoked when starting I finally put tape on all the pipe joints. Shouldn’t have to be a repairman with a new stove. Please forward this to who it will do the most good

We purchased a HP21 and installed it following supplied instructions. Well within 12 hours of use the glass exploded and we were very luck it did not cause more injuries then it did.
