Very disappointed with the number of components we have had to replace in our first couple of years of ownership! The customer service has been good but the stove has been a disappointment. I went ahead and purchased a 5 year warranty due to the number of issues we have had thus far.

unit was delvd march 8th. i was not notified prior to delv, the driver left the unit on my front porch. i had to get help moving it to a safe location. i did not unpack the unit until the installers showed up. when unpacked i discovered the right door was bent and damaged and the plastic hopper lid switch was broken. i contacted your comp and the replacement parts were sent. the replacement door had a bent pivot pin. i have not yet operated to unit. installing today. if any additional deficiencies arise, i will be want a new unit. the unit was purchased online through lowes. thank you for your attention. Only biggest problem was the first hp22 control board we got. It was designed for different pellet stove. Service was great and knew what they were doin.

Comfortbilt is a good product except for the power switch and the igniter which I had to replace twice in a year.

Since our recent purchase in October, we have been plagued with numerous issues from a broken burn pot, bad ignitor, inoperable motherboard and inoperable plug/switch.

After the frustrating shipping issues were resolved, a professional chimney sweep was hired to install the HP22-SS pellet stove (+$1100 time/materials). He commenmented that (in his experience) typically the stove piping kits include an elbow or two, ours 3PVP-KCB-B did not. He said this is a good pellet stove. The fist 4 hours of operation, this pellet stove blased out air 86+ degrees on the highest setting.

I had to get a company in to help me with my pellet stove. They came in and cleaned it but I do what they did I do about every two days. They did clean my chimney stack and the pass through to the back of the stove which needed it. Their cleaning does not included opening side doors and cleaning out chambers. They are supposed to give me an estimate on possibly going through to wall and attaching a hose to the intake. I have approximately 1 to 2 feet of clearence around the air intake

I've already had to replace the switch on the back of my insert. Also I received a vacuum with my stove that has malfunctioned many times. I purchased Comfort bilt because I was told it was rated the number 1 seller. It's hard to clean your stove without the vacuum.

The stove and service to date has exceeded expectations. The stove is well built and the finish is excellent. Maintenance is extremely easy. The service is excellent replacing the burn pot under warranty every time. There are only two issues to date: 1 The ash pan does not fully engulf the stove body allowing excess ash to fall between the pan and the stove. 2 The cast iron burn pot is complete garbage, I have to replace the pot every 3 months. The pot develops a crack and widens over time needing a change out. I have been informed that the company is seeking a replacement for the defective burn pot but it has been two years.

I like comfort built stoves. I have had had a hard time getting the items I have ask for. I talked with comfort built about getting a return receipt, due to the item I got was the wrong size. I called before Christmas and was told they would send one out. I never received the receipt. I finally just sent the return and paid free shipping. I normally don’t have to many issue, but it seems like this one was dropped or never follow through with.

The company is great to deal with during limited business hours. The product however leaves a bit to be desired. Comfort Bilt would do well to make better if any at all attempt to contact customers who have bought products with known defects. That said...when defects are discovered by the product owner the company stands by the product and makes it right. Might leave you cold a few days waiting for a new part but you'll get it. It has always been a pleasure dealing with the company

After only two weeks the verdict is still out. I can say having to CONSTANTLY manually pull the pellets down to the auger is very inconvenient. The auger creates a deep hole in the middle of the hopper and the pellets stay stacked up on the sides instead of falling down. This causes the fire to go out and a low temperature alarm to come on. This has happened EVERY time I have got a fire going again.

I like your pellet stove, however we have lot of problems with it. Your tech helped us alot, walking us thru things to get it up and running (needed a new ignighter which they sent) but we still continue to have weird things happen...like it will be going fine and then stops and we can't even turn it off.
