“I was asked for a review shortly after buying the HP22 pellet stove but declined as I do not like to review something that has not been time tested. I have had 18 months of use with this stove. Our house is about 2000 sq ft and I wanted something that would not have to work hard to accomplish the task - wears out faster that way. This stove has surpassed our expectations. 90% of the time this stove runs on the lowest setting and when I do turn it up, it is never for long. Our winters start in November and end in early April. This stove required just over one pallet of 40# bags to complete the winter. We are getting along in years and we love wood heat. This pellet stove gives all the comfort of wood heat with none of the smoke or labor of stoking the fire or keeping it overnight. Cleaning the ash drawer only once every 4 to 5 days. This is the best pellet stove I have ever had the pleasure of using. It was not the cheapest stove on the market, but you get what you pay for. I dare say you will not be disappointed if you decide to buy it. We certainly have not been.”
