“I purchased and installed a HP22i at the beginning of 2025. Our first fire was in February of 2025 with little use (100 hours) before the season ended. In November 2025 we started using it again, after approximately 110 hours of burn time the auger stopped working. I opened up a trouble ticket with a description of the issue and pictures. I received a fast reply back on what to troubleshoot. After troubleshooting replacement parts were received within 2 days. After replacing those parts another issue was found with the board. That part was also received within 2 days.
Comfortbilt was extremely understanding, responsive, and empathetic to the issues presented. The replies and parts were fast, which was huge as the HP22i is our primary heat source. After working with their service and support, I will continue to use Comfortbilt products for the foreseeable future.
Stuff always breaks and things happen, how Comforbilt stood behind their product and offered their help is seldom seen in a company anymore.

“We replaced a 25 year old stove with this ComfortBilt and I couldn't be happier. We had it installed by a professional and even he said it was a nice unit. It heats up our living room in no time and it is intense heat even when it is on the lowest level. My biggest complaint would have to be the igniter tube. After it was installed, the stove was tested and it worked fine. But once we began using it, we noticed the igniter tube would not stay centered to the pot for the pellets and the stove fills with smoke because only one or two pellets would ignite. Now we have to pay to have the professional come back out to see if he can fix it (we cannot move that heavy stove ourselves!!). The instructions do say that it can be moved out of position during shipping, but any slight jar or movement around that area makes it go off-center; however we still love the stove!!”
“This replaced a pellet burner from a different manufacturer. It is super quiet (huge improvement over previous unit), will run early morning to late night on one hopper load, produces zero visible smoke, and puts out more than enough heat. We live in an older 3,262 sq foot home at high elevation in the Sierra Nevada mountains where winters are quite cold. House has a propane central heating system, but the stove does most of the work or we would go broke. Mostly runs on lowest manual setting; ran it a couple times at manual level 2, never more than that. Burn pot is easy to clean.”
