“I have tried all the sizes and after 2 years I settled on 4mm for the subtle look. I’m still just ok putting on the lid. I have oily lids so after 7 hours they fall off & I use the prep pads. Finally like them but any eyeshadow is difficult. I have the pencil too & Ill keep trying to use pencil cream eyeshadows & see if I can work around the smaller strips. If not, the strips do keep my very hooded eyelids off my lashes.”

For best results, the correcting strips should apply to the bare skin before any makeup, oils, or moisturizers. We recommend using our Eyelid Prep Pads to prepare the skin for LIDS BY DESIGN. We also recommend using the COLORSET All-In-One Pencil over the eyelids and strip to create one smooth surface before applying your makeup.

“I’ve decided to keep trying with another size. I knew my eyelids needed help but I guess I underestimated just how much. I ordered a 6; I’ll reorder an 8 and take a day or two off between practice applications. I think Contours should break a trial multipack into different sizes, say one that has sizes 6, 7, and 8 because this is an expensive product. I have used half of my box of 6s practicing and have concluded they are not the size I need. The eyelid cleaner does prep the eyelid; I don’t know about the pencil yet. If the size 8s don’t work maybe it’s time for a blepharoplasty.”
