“Using the strips are getting easier. It isn't always easy to attach them to the optimal place and sometimes it's difficult not to bend the end of the strip- I prefer to use my fingers and not the tweezers which are included. My hooded eyes definitely look much better when I use the strips. I am somewhat self conscious of using them but so far no one has noticed. Lids by design are the best quality strips I have tried and will continue to use.”

Although the strips are not reusable, you can use one that's been improperly placed over again as a practice strip until you find your perfect placement! Remember they will not be transparent or sticky but you can still find placement with them. When you find your sweet spot, put a fresh one in that location!

For best results, the correcting strips should apply to the bare skin before any makeup, oils, or moisturizers. We recommend using our Eyelid Prep Pads to prepare the skin for LIDS BY DESIGN. The strip and the skin are two different surfaces, so makeup will inherently take two different ways. To avoid this, use our Transforming Shadow Base over the strip and eyelid to make everything one smooth surface. This base was specially designed to work with the strips as it is oil-free and will not interfere with the adhesive! Make sure the shadow base dries out completely before applying, like 2-4 mins drying time, this allows the shadows to be more pigmented and last all day long.
