For best results, the correcting strips should apply to the bare skin before any makeup, oils, or moisturizers. We recommend using our Eyelid Prep Pads to prepare the skin for LIDS BY DESIGN. We also recommend using the COLORSET All-In-One Pencil over the eyelids and strip to create one smooth surface before applying your makeup.

There are a couple of reasons why the strips could be showing up as not transparent after being applied: (1) you may have applied the strip by swiping across it rather than pressing and holding, the more you press the more it blends with the skin tone (2) the skin may not be fully dry or clean (no oils, makeups, or moisturizers) when applying the strip! We recommend using our Eyelid Prep Pads to prepare the skin optimally for LIDS BY DESIGN.
Remember, it is very important that you press and hold the strip to the eye, especially the corners, for several seconds to ensure a strong bond. If the corners are still lifting, try gently exfoliating the eyelid as the strip is likely sticking to dead skin and therefore lifting without a good bond. We recommend using our Eyelid Prep Pads to prepare the skin for LIDS BY DESIGN as it gently exfoliates and removes dirt from the eyelid.
