“Love the linen material on the inner tunic, tabard, Obi and pants.. The outter robe.. Not so much love.. Just plain ordinary broad cloth cotton, with no texture.. Would be great if it was the same linen material that everything else is made from. The hood should have been be twice the size to be closer to authentic. Someone else mentioned something about a pouch on the belt.. It's just flat pleather stitched together all the way around, no way to store anything in it.. And the belt.. Was actually coming apart before we even got out of the house.. Which isn't a big deal to me, since it will be replaced with an actual leather belt soon.. The Obi (sash) and the belt were actually a good bit short. The Obi had to be cut and a panel that was an extra 6" stitched in to fit properly. Was easier to do this than wit for another one to be made and shipped. The belt was usable, but as stated earlier, will be replaced. The brown under shirt.. Not sure I'd call this a shirt. It's not a pull over turtleneck (proper Old Ben style).. I'm guessing it's supposed to be similar to the inner tunic and just fold across itself in the front. You can turn it around backwards and have it safety pinned together and get the proper turtle neck look, but like every other shirt you put on backwards.. It doesn't fit quite right even if it does look more authentic.. Pick your poison..
I was expecting an extended processing time due to picking a custom size build on it.. The site indicates a 10 - 15 day processing time.. That ended up being closer to 30 days.. I'll give 'em a big break on that due to the timing of the order being right before the release of TFA...
This said don't mention delivery, but they've got it going on there for sure.. 3 days to my doorstep in the states, from Shanghai...”
“I absolutely love the costume. I get complements on it all the time and I am constantly getting stopped for pictures.
There were a couple small problems that I had though. Both were extremely easy fixes. The first, on the leather belt. There is a piece that dangles down like a non-functional pouch. It is connected to the main belt by two pieces. One of them broke my second day wearing it at a con. Easy to fix with electrical tape from the back so nobody notices. The second problem, the fabric in the pants by the pocket(not tge pocket itself) started to pull apart and tear. Easily sown back together.
I completely recommended this costume to anyone that wants to cosplay a jedi.”
