“My gift was rejected by the hospital maternity ward and when I spoke to C&S they rudely stated it was not their problem and that they didn’t take any responsibility for the item then being thrown out by DPD as consumables. If this is the case it should be clearly stated on address entry as a Not possible to deliver to hospitals ‼️ and I wouldn’t have wasted my money. Customer service or whome ever answered my call didn’t give a dame! Will never use this company again.”
Hi there,
We’re really sorry your gift wasn’t received at the hospital — we know how frustrating that is. Some hospitals may reject parcels with food due to hygiene policies, allergy risks, or limited storage, especially on wards like maternity or ICU.
We’ve reviewed the call with our agent and can confirm they did try to assist within the limits of what’s possible once the item was marked undeliverable. We’re genuinely sorry if that didn’t come across as supportive at the time.
We always recommend sending to a home address if possible, and we do include this guidance in our FAQs. If you’d like to talk more about this or need help, feel free to reach out at hello@cutterandsquidge.com.
